54 Service Stations will be set up in Shanghai Expo Site

2010 Shanghai World Expo is expected to attract 70 million visitors. How to make them feel at home? The fourth International Participants Meeting of Shanghai World Expo was held yesterday. The meeting conveyed that 54 services stations and 22 integrated reservation stations would be set up to provide a convenient, comfortable and high-quality service for visitors.

 

It is learned that the service involves inquiry reception service, deposit service, Lost property service, trusteeship of lost children service, nursing room service, service for disabled, complaint handling service, visitor investigation service and so on. The Expo Site was planned to set up 54 service stations with about 2,000 drinking water faucets and 80 kiosks. There will be 10,200 toilet seats in the enclosed area, 4,542 of which are for men and 5,747 are for women.

 

In addition, the Expo Site will set up five media stations to provide emergency medical services. Two financial networks will be set separately on Pudong Area and Puxi Area to provide 25 ATMs, and each commodity network in the site will apply to POS to make it convenient for visitors to swipe card. Eight post service stations will be set up too. There will be two or three information service terminals in each kiosk.

 

Take the large number of visitors into account, Shanghai Expo Site is also planned to set up 22 integrated reservation stations. Visitors can order the desired pavilion in advance through 176 machines. It is said that the Expo organizer was considering the two service modes: reserve by team and reserve by individual.
