Shanghai Expo Village to enter a decoration stage

The Expo village has entered a completely renovated stage, Huang Jianzhi, deputy director of Shanghai World Expo Coordination Bureau, said that serviced apartments and normal apartments were to open at the end of November, and the luxury hotel was to open in the first quarter of next year.

The price of apartments will be different depending on the location, floor, facilities as well as bundled services. The serviced apartments and normal apartments will collect the rents according to the building area. A serviced apartment will cost 220 to 240 Yuan per square meter, while the normal apartment will cost 120 to 160 Yuan. Luxury hotels will cost 1,600 to 2,000 Yuan per day, while economy hotels will cost 200 to 300 Yuan per day.

18 serviced apartments, which are surrounding around the Expo Site, have been included in the official designated apartments for exhibitor reception. The apartments aim at providing accommodation services during the Shanghai World Expo, the room price of which are lower than the apartments of Shanghai Expo Village.

The booking center of Shanghai Expo has picked up and signed with almost 200 hotels of the Shanghai city to serve journalists, performers and some guests.
