Shanghai octogenarian granny to travel around the world with "Expo card"

A Shanghai octogenarian granny made a number of business card printed with the Expo Mascot “Haibao” and the slogan “Welcome to Shanghai” specially for her intention of travelling around the world to promote the Shanghai World Expo.

The legendary granny was a teacher born in 1928, Shanghai. “My first destination is countries in Asia, then Europe, America and Africa”, the granny said.

She has got many country visas including Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, India, France, Britain, and Brazil.

The granny said that she is always fond of travel. After retirement, she and her husband developed a plan to travel around the country and then the world.

She still sticks to finish the plan after the husband’s death, hopes to introduce Shanghai Expo to people all over the world, and welcome them to Shanghai Expo next year.
