Expo temporary sanitation pier will serve aquatic environmental cleaning

The first official wharf was broken earth in Expo Site on October 21 as the temporary sanitation pier to serve Expo aquatic environment cleaning.

It is reported that the wharf would be a 60-meter floating Pump Vessel terminal, which would be located in the Huangpu riverside to be consistent with the overall image of Shanghai World Expo Site.

The project takes up 60-meter shoreline. The total investment could arrive at 6.82 million Yuan and is hoped to finish construction in January next year.

The wharf will change Shanghai’s current management of onshore monitoring of Shanghai wharfs.
