Public Participation Center is set up in sub-pavilion “Urban Dwellers”

It is reported that Public Participation Center, which covers an area of 1200 square meters, will be set up in the sub-pavilion “Urban Dwellers” in the center of World Expo site. A piece of dynamic paper as the symbol of the pavilion means the past, present and future which witness the urban development promoted by mankind. It also implies that each individual’s present action will make an impact in the long course of historical development.

The Publicity Department of the Shanghai Municipal Committee makes preparations for the setting up of Public Participation Center. On the “our homeland” theme, the center consists of three parts, respectively “witness and record”, “participate in exhibition” and “bear dreams and expectations”. It highlights the concept of “Your every action will change our life”.

The center organizers collected tagline, logo and exhibits from public at home and abroad.
