Expo Shanghai Online turns up in conference of BIE

As an innovation in Shanghai World Expo, Expo Shanghai Online appeared in the 146^th general session of BIE and got splendid reviews from BIE and delegates. It was thought as “a revolutionary innovation in history of World Expo”.

Expo Shanghai Online has been launched on November 12, and the English version of Expo Shanghai Online will be started in January 2010. Now in Expo Shanghai Online,

Officials of Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination were invited to introduce the progress of Shanghai World Expo and play a demo about Expo Shanghai Online.

Expo Shanghai Online is one of the highlights of Expo. And it shows the Expo site and pavilions via 3D virtual reality and multimedia so that global netizens can visit them at home.

Up to now, a total of 217 countries and international organizations are confirmed to participate in Expo Shanghai Online, and 34 participants intend to build experiential pavilion.
