Expo ticket sales launch in Singapore

Organizers of Shanghai World Expo held “China 2010 Shanghai World Expo ticket sales kick-off ceremony in Singapore” on December 10, and granted the authorization to Commonwealth Travel Service Corporation Pte Ltd and Singa China Travel Service Pte Ltd.

More than two hundred people from Singapore government departments, Singapore and China friendly associations, Chinese Chamber of commerce in Singapore, major airlines and travel agencies attended this open ceremony.

According to “Shanghai World Expo visitors intention investigation” made by China's National Bureau of Statistics, 350~ 400 foreign visitors (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) who are going to Shanghai World Expo make up approximately 5% of all visitors, among which visitors from Singapore and other Southeast Asia countries are expected to reach 400 thousand or more.
