12 million Shanghai World Expo tickets sold

Up to now, 12 million Shanghai World Expo tickets have been sold, beyond the schedule of 10 million tickets.

According to Chen xianjin, deputy director of Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, the amount of the purchase from Yangtze River Delta occupies the ninety percent of the total in the former period, and recently the amount of the purchase from the rest of the country is increasing. This indicates that 2010 Shanghai World Expo occupies more and more important position in people’s thoughts.

As 2010 Shanghai World Expo is approaching, favorable range of the pre-sale tickets will be reduced and this is the main reason why so many people purchase tickets recently. From January 1 next year, Shanghai World Expo will firstly launch the multiple-entry tickets and special tickets for designated groups.
