
Caribbean Community is committed to helping Haiti tide over the crisis
The surviving Haiti struck a chord in the heart of people around the world, and also got the deep concern from Shanghai World Expo organizers.
The Expo organizers specifically got in touch with the Deputy Chief Representative of CARICOM Pavilion and expressed their concerns for Haiti after earthquake. They also said that they would continue to support CARICOM to complete the exhibition. The envoys also firmly indicated that the countries in CARICOM would be duty-bound to help ride out the storm in Haiti and ensure Haiti participating in 2010 Shanghai World Expo.
The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) was founded in 1973. It consists of 15 member countries, including Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis Sri Lanka, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Surname, Trinidad and Tobago.
