Venezuela Pavilion is topped off
Venezuela Pavilion has been topped off on February 5 and the original plan is to finished before February 14. The construction on Venezuela Pavilion just takes three months.
The design of the 3,000-square-meter Venezuela Pavilion is inspired by Klein bottle, and integrates the rural and urban architectural concepts.
The pavilion looks like a figure 8 – an auspicious number in both China and Venezuela. In Venezuelan culture, the number “8” depicts a gradual process of improvement, an endless journey, a boundless and limitless city, a new society which includes everyone and has democracy as its key element of development. Venezuela's flag has eight stars which represents the last province to add to the dream of independence.
