Chinese-style wedding held in World Expo site

The first Chinese-style wedding ceremony in the World Expo Site was held in the Shaoxing restaurant at the Theme Pavilion yesterday evening. The restaurant sent each wedding guest an Expo night ticket, so they could enjoy the wedding ceremony as well as the beautiful view in Shanghai Expo. The bride and groom, Li Yana and Wang Xudong, came from Dalian and spent much time to prepare to hold their wedding ceremony in the Shanghai Expo site. The couple’s relatives and friends witnessed the significant “Expo marriage.” 

Shaoxing restaurant has the biggest banqueting hall in the Expo site, and has promoted multiple Expo-style events such as wedding ceremonies and birthday celebrations. The representative of the restaurant said that they provide those services for the visitors so they can enjoy lively traditional customs in the World Expo site.
