Morocco Expo Pavilion welcomes special guests
A group of 32 poor and disadvantaged children visited the Morocco Pavilion at the invitation of its staff on July 25th.
Ahmed Ammor, commissioner general of Morocco, warmly welcomed the special guests and presented them with gifts and certificates. The gifts included an umbrella, a hat and a T-shirt. Morocco is a country of hospitality, and its people hoped to showcase such image to Chinese visitors, Ammor said.
The pavilion is inspired by the rich culture of Morocco, which embodies wisdom and the spirit of innovation. It showcases the legacy of traditional civilization and the art of life. The exhibition represents different aspirations of residents and their lives as well as Morocco's thinking over history, culture, environment and urban development.
Morocco is the only African country that has built its own pavilion for Shanghai World Expo.
