USA Expo Pavilion welcomes 3 millionth visitor

The USA Pavilion welcomed its three millionth visitor on July 19th, the 80th-day since the Expo kicked off on May 1. The couple from Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, Cai Zhiping and his wife Wang Xiangjuan, received a crystal USA Pavilion model, a special gold coin and other pavilion memorabilia, as the three millionth visitor to the pavilion. 

The 70-year-old couple was welcomed by Martin Alintuck, President and CEO of the USA Pavilion. This was their first visit to the World Expo. It was another important milestone after USA celebrated its Pavilion Day on July 2, said Jose Villarreal, Commissioner General of the United States. 

The USA Pavilion welcomes an average of 42,000 visitors per day, and is expected to receive more than six million visitors during the 184-day duration of the World Expo.
