Singapore's veteran politician to visit Shanghai Expo

Singapore's veteran politician and Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew will pay a visit to the World Expo site and speak about the ties between China and east and south Asia on Friday in Shanghai. 

He will talk about Singapore's experience in maintaining sustainable development and share his visions on the country's relationship with China in various fields. 

The speech will be a highlight of Singapore's participation in the 2010 World Expo, and will mark the opening of a series of events to celebrate the 20th year of the establishment of diplomatic relationship between the two counties.
