USA Expo Pavilion receives 500000 visitors

USA Pavilion in Expo site had received 500,000 visitors by May 15th. 

Data showed that the pavilion received an average of 35,000 visitors every day. The pavilion was expected to receive more than 6 million visitors through the whole 2010 Shanghai Expo. 

USA Pavilion Commissioner General José H. Villarreal said that he felt happy for the pavilion to have made such achievement in such a short time and the staff expressed their gratitude to visitors offering positive comments on the pavilion, Villarreal added. He said that the staff will sincerely and warm-heartedly welcome guests from all walks of life.

The USA Pavilion offers exhibits of high technology and a variety of culture events. Visitors can go to the Pavilion's official Website for further event information. It covering 6,000 square meters, is one of the largest national pavilions in 2010 World Expo. 

The pavilion, with the overall theme "Rise to the Challenge," showcases American business and technology, as well as culture and values, to foster stronger friendship between the American and Chinese peoples.
